3. What are the purposes and on what legal grounds does this data processing take place?
Contact: You have contacted CITALENT by telephone, email, social media.
Legal basis: legitimate interest, the processing of personal data is proportionate to the legitimate interest and the desired effect cannot be achieved by less intrusive means.
Retention period: indefinite, but no longer than necessary.
Membership Plan: You have entered into a contract with CITALENT in the form of a membership for a longer period with a monthly recurring payment for the use of a workspace and other services such as the use of office equipment, meeting room or studio room inclusive equipment.
Legal basis: necessary for the performance of the agreement.
Retention period: indefinite, but no longer than necessary.
Drop-in - or Week Pass: short-term use of a workspace by, for example, people who want to use a workspace for a day or a week and cannot stay long enough to become a member.
Legal basis: necessary for the performance of the short-term agreement for non-members.
Retention period: indefinite, but no longer than necessary.
Use of resources: Visitors and external parties who want to use one of our available spaces for meetings, recording a podcast, doing a photoshoot or organizing an event, workshop, masterclass , networking event and such.
Legal basis: necessary for the performance of the short-term agreement for non-members.
Retention period: indefinite, but no longer than necessary.
Billing and financial administration: to send and complete payments.
Legal basis: necessary for the performance of the agreement and a legal obligation.
Retention period: seven years.
4. What is the retention period for personal data?
CITALENT will not retain your personal data longer than necessary for the provision of services. Communications (emails) will be retained for at least five years, due to the statutory limitation period for claims for damages. Invoicing data will be retained for seven years for the purposes of the Tax and Customs Administration's statutory record-keeping requirements.
5. Does CITALENT share personal data with third parties?
CITALENT only shares personal data with third parties if this is required by law or if it is necessary for business operations. CITALENT engages external service providers with whom your personal data may be shared:

6. What are your rights?
Right of access: you have the right to submit a request to CITALENT to receive a copy of your personal data with information about its processing. Members do have access to their member portal where all data can be viewed and changed if necessary.
Right to object: you have the right to object to the processing of personal data if you disagree with the way your personal data is processed by CITALENT.
Right to withdraw consent: you have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data if you have given it.
Right to erasure: you can request CITALENT to erase your personal data. CITALENT is not obliged to comply with this request, as there are exceptions to this right. For example, some data is necessary for legal proceedings or must be retained by law for tax purposes.
Right to correction: you have the right to request changes if your personal data is incorrect and/or incomplete. CITALENT will then change your personal data.

CITALENT handles personal data with care and takes appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. For example, CITALENT's email is protected with two-step verification, and CITALENT does not make copies of your personal data. In addition, CITALENT's devices are always locked with a password. Besides CITALENT's own measures to protect your personal data, the platform owner mentioned under 5 'Upstream', as the data processor, does take her own measures, fully compliant with the GDPR.
